Thank you all for visiting my site! My best friend and hero, my dad, passed away July 10th, 2007 from a 2 year battle with Esophageal Cancer. I have been inspired to help raise awareness of this cancer and to support the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, because of the journey that my family has endured and the hope that some day we will find a cure. Frankie's 5k is run/walk in memory of my dad and of all who have battled this disease. I am anxiously awaiting this year's Frankie's 5k, to see family, friends and strangers come together and celebrate the lives of those we've lost and raise awareness and money for research so that we won't lose another to Esophageal Cancer.
